media: Graphite 6B; pencils (8B, 3B, 2H, 6H); soft pastel and canson paper
dimension: 22x30cm
duration: 20 hours

hair is not made of graphite its made of soft pastel and 8B pencil... skin is 6B graphite smoothen through the use of soft brush...

i feel so sad that someone had a nerve to steal this drawing and even made a lousy signature underneath... that person smudged my own signature and the letter "f" is still evident... that person forgot something... its not about the signature its the style that he can NEVER steal... i believe the way i make the hair strands is unique... and no one can get away unnoticed i know my drawing pretty well... its a shame that no one can be so perfect to copy the perfect strands the way i made it imperfect and how i departed from the original piece...

NEVER STEAL MY DRAWINGS!!!

Wow... it's perfect in every way... It's just like a photo. Congrats for having the patience to work on this for 20 hours too, I usually get sick of it after about 5-6. :)

yeah you're right... patience does the work... its not actually done at one sitting... most of the time i spend days working on a portrait and ill just add the number of hours i used in actual drawing... thanks for dropping by my page... have a nice day

waaah this is beautiful too!! Such a wonderful range of tones you have!! i used to do all my work like this with a mechanical pencil, because I refused to use the different drawing pencils...>_< I have seen da light!!!! it's got great composition too. ^.^ Love it love it love it

i always try to define the black by making it deeper and leave white spots... more often than not, i try to shade a lighter tone within the eyes and erase the spot where the light strikes... usually i spend 2 hours making both eyes... haha... that's my style coz i believe most people see the eyes first among the rest...
